We should all give him a break!
Michelle Quek - We all know that there are pictures that are worse out there! Edison Chen just happened to be unlucky enough to get his pictures leaked. Moreover, these are from his private life! He doesn't owe us any explanation or whatsoever. Honestly, if Edison Chen is considered as a "bad boy", there will be tons of "bad" boys out there. Yes, I agree that it's his fault for the pictures to leak, and it does cause serious harm to the images of those who were in the pictures, especially the females. But if you come to think of it, it's not exactly his fault! In fact, I feel that he's the biggest victim! He was not the one who leaked those photos, so the main culprits are the ones who stole Edison Chen's private photos without his permission and then uploaded them online! Furthermore, it takes two hands to clap, so if the female party is not willing, there's nothing Edison can do about it. So why does Edison Chen have to take all the blame? Because of this incident, Edison Chen has become a laughing stock making him even more devastated than he already was. I came across this video which I think is, if I put myself in his shoes, really hurtful. How would you feel, when you're saying something seriously, but others take it as a complete joke? A youtube video of him looking half-dying, begging people to delete the pictures, apologizing, has already shown how regretful he is. Look even all those triads from the ganglands want to chop off his hand... I think we really should give him a break before pushing him to his wits end. He has already gotten the punishment that he has deserved, we can all imagine how miserable his life has turned into after this "EDISON CHEN INCIDENT". He has been turned down by a few endorsements and movies, endless blames by the societies, and so on and so forth. Everyone make mistakes in life; I think everyone deserves a chance to turn over a new leaf. All those people, heaping blame on him, should really consider this. This can actually be a very valuable lesson to all of us! For all those young girls out there, to learn about the outcome of taking such nasty pictures with their boyfriends. I think we can all notice how much change has occurred to their lives. A tiny action that may seem to be harmless to you today might cause a 180 degree change to your life. In life, we should really think twice not just about our actions but on our speech as well~ So the bottom line is, no naughty photos = no scandal~ And also, bring your computer to a trustworthy repairman~ :) |
